Features:
  • Auger Flighting:
    • Intake Section: Long life 7/32" welded wear-edge intake with special low pitch for proven added capacity. Can be replaced by removing one setscrew.
    • Upper Section: 7" OD x 10-gauge flighting and 1.68"x10-gauge high yield tubing, with solid steel connectors.
  • Top Drive: #60 roller chain and hardened steel sprockets run in a lubricated housing with 1" flangette collar lock sealed ball bearings.
  • Cable and Winch: 7000 lbs 1/4" galvanized aircraft cable operated from reduction geared winch with automatic brake.
  • Undercarriage: 2-1/2" x 2-1/12" x 3/16" steel square tubing frame contoured and designed for maximum strength and balance. The undercarriage frame is designed for easy access to engine drives and for belt adjustments and service. The axle is built to conform to the installation of Wheatheart Self-Propelled Auger Kit.
  • Auger Tube: 8" OD x 14-gauge steel, fusion welded seams. Truss and undercarriage brackets are welded in place. Tubes are connected with 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 3/16" flanges. Flanges are welded to the tube and connected with eight 7/16" bolts. 51' models have reinforced truss brackets with 1/4" galvanized steel cables. Welded 11-gauge tube track with 2 3/4" steel roller track lift shoe.
  • Drive Shaft and Bearings: 1 1/4 OD" x 11 gauge high yield steel tubing with welded solid ends supported by 1-1/4" oil impregnated hardwood bearings.
  • Gear Box: Forged steel gears with tapered roller bearings. Gearbox connects to drive shaft with flex-coupler.
  • Hubs and Wheels: The auger is transported on 4 bolt automotive type hub, tapered roller bearings, and 15" wheels. Wheels accept the Wheatheart Self-Propelled Gear Drives.
