Each of the three Wheatheart Post Pounder models is available in 3-pt hitch or trailer mount styles.


Heavy Hitter Post Pounder

Features:
  • 660 lb heavy duty hammer pounds posts in hard ground.
  • 4 head mounting positions.

  • PTO pump or 9 HP Honda motor on trailer model.
  • 3pt model requires a minimum 75 HP tractor.

    Heavy Hitter Plus Post Pounder

    Features:
  • 720 lb heavy duty hammer.
  • Hammer height adjustable from 9'8" to 14'5".
  • Additional weight ballast box for greater stability.
  • PTO pump or 13 HP Honda motor on trailer model.
  • Out rigger for additional stability on trailer model.
  • 3pt model requires a minumum 75 HP tractor.
  • Greaseless horizontal poly slides.
  • Swivel control panel with joystick hydraulic controls.
  • Adjustable hammer height to accommodate different post lengths.
  • Trailer models have wide stance, weighted counter-balance/post carrier and low centre of gravity for balance and stability.

    Compact Post Pounder

    Features:
  • 295 lb hammer (ballast can be adapted)
  • 8'7" hammer height
  • Ideal for lighter jobs
  • PTO pump or 5.5 HP Honda motor
  • Designed for tractors 65 HP and under
  • Optional Spring Kit increases downward force on hammer
  • Optional Post Rack for trailer model
  • Greaseless horizontal poly slides.
  • Swivel control panel with joystick hydraulic controls.
  • Adjustable hammer height to accommodate different post lengths.
  • Trailer models have wide stance, weighted counter-balance/post carrier and low centre of gravity for balance and stability.

    Optional Water Spike Kit

    Available for the Heavy Hitter and Heavy Hitter Plus, this add-on allows you to cut pilot holes through the hardest ground, using the machine's self-contained power wand.

  • Self contained power wand reduces pounder strokes by up to 50%, saving time and resulting in less post damage and straighter fence lines.
  • The easy to use control valve and wand are conveniently mounted, and a splash guard keeps the operator safe and dry.
  • Concealed obstructions can be located with the wand prior to post pounder operation, saving on post damage and frustration.
  • Triplex cast head water pump (Type: 3 piston; Operating speed: 1000 - 1500 rpm; Volume: 1.2 gpm; Operating pressure: 2000 - 2200 psi; Tank size: 65 gal)
  • 42" wand with 0° flat nozzle, 02 orifice size. The wand nozzle produces a 1-1/2" OD hole to a depth of 42" in an average time of 30 seconds.
  • The water pump requires a hydraulic flow of 6 gpm at 1200 psi, supplied by the Wheatheart pounder's hydraulic system.
  • Comes with a water tank, hoses, mounting brackets, extra valve with connectors.
