Rental Dealer Updates

On this dealer support page you will find information about the new contact-less rental procedure being implemented at corporate locations and ways you can safely interact with customers during the rental process. You will also find support documents regarding rental procedures available to download at the bottom of this page.

NEW Rental Procedure

For the safety of our staff and customers, we are implementing the following changes to our Rental Procedure (effective immediately).

Hook-ups

  1. When the customer arrives at the gate, they will call reception and be forwarded to the Rental department.
  2. Take the customer’s credit card number and driver’s license info over the phone to create a rental contract and a preauthorization of the credit card.
  3. The customer will need to take pictures of their credit card (front and back) and driver’s license when picking up equipment (or over the phone when booking).
  4. The customer will need to agree to the contract via text.
  5. The yard staff will open the gate, and the customer will park inside the lot but remain in their vehicle.
  6. A staff member will hook up the equipment and place a copy of the rental contract in the passenger side window, while maintaining proper social distancing (remaining 6 ft away at all times).
  7. A picture of the customer’s license plate can be taken for added security.

Returns

  1. When the customer arrives at the gate, they will call reception and be forwarded to the Rental department.
  2. Over the phone, ask the customer to park in the drop zone and wait in their vehicle.
  3. The yard staff will open the gate and a staff member will unhook the equipment and check for damage.
  4. The rental contract will be closed, the customer’s payment will be taken, and a receipt will need to be emailed to them.

The procedure for parts, service, and sales is very similar. Please ask the customer to stay in their vehicle and indicate if they wish to also purchase parts or speak to someone in sales or service.
